Breast Revision Surgery
Breast revision surgery is performed to address dissatisfaction with results or to correct complications.
Because it is essential to accurately identify and improve the cause of failure from the previous breast surgery, you should always consult with an experienced specialist.
At the id Breast Center, we do our utmost to deliver results you can be satisfied with — in shape, movement, and feel.
Do I Need a Breast Revision?

When an implant is placed in the body, it is recognized as a foreign object, and the body forms a protective capsule around it. If this capsule forms excessively, it can harden, causing discomfort and aesthetic issues.

This can occur due to inaccurate design, improper dissection, or failure to consider the individual's chest structure during surgery, resulting in breast asymmetry or dissatisfaction with size.

If you notice unusual changes in your breast and an ultrasound exam confirms implant damage or rupture, replacement is recommended.
Successful Breast Revision in Any Case

After breast augmentation, the capsule around the implant can thicken, causing the breast to harden and its shape to deform.
In revision surgery, this thickened capsule must be completely removed.

Capsular contracture is classified into four grades based on severity. Grades 3-4 require surgical correction.
